Nope, but just having the invisibility on Lan option ticked makes it effective whether or not you are connected to the VPN or not which is why I didn't make the connection sooner as I was having problems while not connected to Nord.

I just checked my Nord, and the invisibility on Lan option is NOT ticked. I still cannot cast to my TV.
Oh well......
@mkr10001 Finally some good news.
I went to task mgr and stopped (ie End Task) the Nord service that always runs. And guess what....
It worked!!! I can cast without any problems now.
Just don't quite understand why if the 'invisibility on LAN option' is not ticked, why does this not let me cast??
Anyway it might help someone else.
