Quick Assist support - timer for give asisstance set at 0

    I had this strange and aggravating problem and finally (after a wild goose chase!) traced it to the system clock being wrong. In my case, I was dual booting between Windows and Linux, causing the clock to be several hours in the future when Windows first came up. After correcting the time in Control Panel (either manually or by network sync), the security code appeared and the timer counted down from 10 min as expected, instead of starting stuck at 00:00.

    So, I’d say double check the date and time on the assister’s computer. Bumping an old thread, I know, but still one of the top search results for this issue, so wanted to add the suggestion…

    I think Team Viewer is pay now only. As Ztrucker said try deleting again & re-install !
