Bravia Display? I don't have any such. What is Windows doing?

This morning, my Network window showed a Display subpanel. I've never seen that before.

And I don't have any such display! We don't even have a Sony TV in the house? So what is going on here with Windows? Is there some security issue?

Your neighbour may be playing with their TV's 'WiFi Direct' settings.

Wi-Fi Direct creates a network of devices that can communicate with one another, rather than connecting them to the internet.

Chill out, nothing is wrong. It has been like that for well over 5 years with Windows 8/10.

I get various nearby Wireless devices like Mobile Phones, Wireless Printers, Wireless TVs, Tablets etc.
Basically it's just Network Discovery finding nearby stuff.

They don't connect, no worries.

Currently I'm getting an Amazon Kindle Fire Tablet.

OK thanks for the advice, but I was in computer security for over 10 years. You may be describing a hole in Windows security (if that isn't an oxymoron.
