Thanks Bree still kind of new at WiFi Cards never used one in the past, hard to believe in this age. As i see only antenna hookups on WiFi cards. So how does it work with my internal ethernet card streaming from the internet with Miracast ? Still needing my Modem and Router from Cable Company.
You will have two network adapters on the PC. The existing Ethernet connection will receive the streaming video from the internet through your ISP as normal. Your PC will rebroadcast this direct to the TV using Miracast via the WiFi adapter.
PCIE WiFi card correct , not a plug in USB adapter ?
O.k., thanks ! Was looking at this card https://www.asus.com/us/Networking/PCEAC56/
I cannot find anything in the specs for that card saying it supports Miracast.
Any card based on the Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 9260 adapter is...

...in fact, most recent Intel adapters seem to support Miracast.
A list of other Miracast certified adapters can be found here: Product Finder Results | Wi-Fi Alliance
The specs for any card should say which adapter they use. For example, here's one based on the Intel 9260. Not a recommendation, just the first Google hit...

Miracast has been around since 2012 believe card i showed wasn't that old, yes hard to find anything that said it supports it. Seems harder on WiFi Alliance site to find anything but an internal adapter from Intel or other brands. Check this out for yourself.
Intel Wireless-AC 9260 is internal adapter i am not finding others maybe my search terms are wrong. Thanks for the help !!
Thank you for the responses to this post ! Having a better understanding of Miracast. I decided i do not want to install a WiFi card just to get Miracast i am in no need of it for it's other uses.
