    Changes coming for Wi-Fi

Not exactly Win10 but the name/version changes will impact IT support both in simplifying and confusing things. But then that's always been a thorn in the side of techs, getting people to be precise and accurate in their descriptions of things.

They are trying to get people switched over to using the Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) to free up traffic on the internet IPv4..
My opinion, they should put people who use their cell phones for the internet, put them to use the IPv6. there are more cell phone users than PC users now.
We have an ad running here trying to warn people on paying attention,, in 2016, 628 pedestrians died while using their phones and walking out into oncoming traffic.

What has IPv6 and IPv4 got to do with these new wifi band names. Nothing has really changed except a simplified naming convention.
