So, my old PC was 10 years old and I just built a new one. It has Bluetooth. I dont know how I would use that.
I do have media...pics/videos/movies/music on the PC so I would guess Bluetooth is useful in dealing with media.
Just how do you use Bluetooth on your PC?
Bluetooth is a short-range, low-to-medium-bandwidth radio form of communication, good for between 30 ft and 150 fit, depending on version. See this discussion of Bluetooth versions 3, 4, 4.1 and 4.2 for some useful info. It's used for several classes of devices:
1. local input peripherals, mostly mice, trackballs, keyboards and so forth
2. personal area networking (PAN), which allows PCs, cellphones, printers, and other mobile devices to exchange data. Bluetooth in automobiles and smart homes are growing markets for PAN stuff of all kinds.
3. media connections: lots of headphones, speakers, and other audio devices are accessible via Bluetooth

Bluetooth is just another form of wireless. So maybe you buy a Bluetooth set of speakers or a bluetooth headphones / headset.
A bluetooth keyboard
You will notice a Phone setting in Settings to link your phone or a dynamic lock option in account sign in options, you walk away from PC locks, you bring phone in range it unlocks.
