    File Sharing Windows 10 Home

I have 2 windows 10 Home PC connected via an Ethernet switch. Comp A can see ComB and read and write files to a public folder but not any other locations. ComB can see Comp A but can access any files.
The message Windows cannot access \\Compx keeps popping up when you try to access file.

Now I have been through all the settings I can think possibl;e and read articles and watched Youtube. But nothing works.

I just want to share all my files and drives between these 2 computers.

    Any Ideas?

Welcome to the forum. To access files you must create a shared folder and give everyone access to the share you must then set ntfs perrmisions on that folder so people can use them. If you try and share folders in the user profile ie desktop they have special perrmisions set and its very hard to get access as even on the pc you cant by default view other users folders even as admin

You say your using a switch is it switch hub or router? Are all PC's in the same workgroup and IP range. If you can't see a folder can you map a drive or connect to it to be able to see it NetBIOS is needed
