It looks like the front-end part has a file ext of .accde, so could it be commsdb.accde that your looking for ?

    1. Have you checked the Slave PC's to see it's actually on them vs the Server ?
    2. Do you know that name of it, so you could search for it ?
I'm guessing here, but I bet it's on the Slave PC's and when you run it it connects to server shared folders for access to the database.
Well, I forgot to say that when I set up the shared folder/drive it lists the database like this (Which one do I click on to get to the main screen, rather than the backend?) Camms - New2 maybe? (But why is the date much newer on the .be files?)

No clue, but you need to enable show file extension on the Server - Hide or Show File Name Extensions in Windows 10 | Windows 10 Tutorials

Just a guess, but if I'm understanding this correctly ... once you enable show file extension you should be able to tell which is which.
    Front End - CAMMS_be.accde
    Back End - CAMMS_be.accdb

    Edit:
Also, if my understanding is correct. Once you find the correct Front End file, you can fix/create the Desktop Shortcuts on the Slave PC's ... Example ... the location would be \\CAMMSLTD-PC\backend\CAMMS_be.accde

Brilliant. So if enable file extensions, then copy the front end location into the desktop icon?

    Yep, that should work.

Note: This assumes that \\CAMMSLTD-PC\backend\CAMMS_be.accde is the correct location / front end file :)
