Check Windows Services and see if ... TCP/IP NetBOIS Helper is running. The default startup type is Manual (Trigger Start).

I should have told you to also check that Workstation is running and startup type is automatic.

Note: Sorry for piecemealing the check on windows services, I seemed to have misplaced my notes on these particular ones

Yes both DNS Client and Workstation are running and set correctly. I just chatted with Microsoft Support, and they didn't understand, or played dumb....

    Figures

One last thing we can check, see if we can figure out why TCPIP over NetBios is Disabled.

Open PowerShell as Admin and Copy/Paste the following, making sure to hit enter after the last one

    Get-NetAdapter -Name "Wi-Fi" | Format-List -Property "Name", "InterfaceDescription", "InstanceID"
    Get-ItemProperty -Path HKLM:SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\NetBT
    Get-ItemProperty -Path HKLM:SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\NetBT\Parameters
    Get-ChildItem -Path HKLM:SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\NetBT\Parameters\Interfaces -Recurse

Hmm ... missing output from the first command and not the output I was expecting from the last command, but that doesn't mean there is an issue. Run these two commands again (one at at time), please ...
