Recently added both laptops to a workgroup as suggested here to enable file sharing and it worked perfectly.
Then suddenly today 1 of the computers can't see the other one.
Laptop 1 can't see laptop 2
1 did have a Pin as security while 2 had a password.
I've changed 1 to a Password too as suggested in another thread but this didn't work.
Any ideas.

1. Can you still access the PC manually in File Explorer > Address Bar by \\PCNAME or \\IPADDRESS ?Then suddenly today 1 of the computers can't see the other one.
2. If you can't manually access the PC ... what is the error you're getting ?
3. If you can manually access the PC and it's just not showing up in File Explorer > Network ... Check Windows

Laptop 1 just doenst see 2 at all.

You changed the Password on 1, right. On 2 go to Control Panel > Credentials Manager > Windows Credentials and you should see credentials for 1 and you can edit the password.Oddily laptop 2 can see Laptop 1 under "Network" but can't access anything as its asking for credentials again.

Note: You probably already know this :)
1. You can still use a PIN to sign into the PC on startup, if you want.
I have Passwords and PINs setup on both my PC's, but use the PIN to signin with as it's shorter/easier than my password.
