OK, I got Spybot after the problems started because I wanted an extra layer of security. I've uninstalled it now. I reset host file after doing that. Then I disabled ipv6.
The VPN was another thing I installed because someone asked me to during a connection troubleshooting to connect via VPN and see if it makes a difference. I've uninstalled that also now.
The following speedtest result in on WiFi (ethernet is unplugged) and after having done all the above. My connection currently is up and stable, but once again, time will tell.

Thanks for the help so far, it's very much appreciated.

What are your down/up signal levels and SNR on the MG7540?

I've had a stable connection for three days now. So, I'm going to mark this as solved.

Thank you to everyone who replied.

I am having the same issue....sort of. My PC has the same Realtek port and also Spectrum. Difference is my issue happens only during games and kicks me off the game (that I know of anyways). I have turned off the power manager thing, i have disabled Eco mode, updated driver, changed ports on modem, tried 3 different Ethernet cables..... I DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO!!! Internet works fine on all other devices...tv's, playstations, phones etc. WHAT CAN I DO TO FIX THIS? What settings am I needing turned off or step by step instructions would be better from someone who knows how to make the Ethernet connection not shut itself off every 3 minutes!!!! It would be amazingly helpful!!!!
