Cannot connect to network drives - network path not found!
This is a really infuriating problem that I just can’t get my head around!
I have 2 win10 pcs and one WDigital network drive all wired together by Ethernet via an Asus AC68u.
Pc 1 can read and write to the network drive and can read and write files to pc 2
pc2 can read and write to pc1 but although the drive icon is visible in “this pc”, whenever I try and open it, I get the error attached.
The network drive can be read by every wireless device in the house with no issues and if I disconnect pc2’s Ethernet cable and plug it into any of the other laptops in the house, the network drive is perfectly read/writable.
Ive checked all the basic network discovery stuff, SMB1 being checked. I’ve even created a new user on the pc and it still doesn’t work from that account.
Pc 2’s internet access and other networking features are fine - it just seems to have an issue with this drive!
Can anyone please help, I’m losing my hair over this!
