Thank you, Eagle51, just one question: the CMD command, would you like me to give it while connected to the Internet through my smartphone, like I am now, or when I am connected to the router but without an internet connection?
Connected to the router, with no connection. The ipconfig /all is just to try an confirm the setting you're seeing in the Adapter Properties

I have a picture of the back side of the router, where the password is but I am not sure if the username is shown there. Now it is night here but tomorrow I'll have a look. It is a CISCO I think.
I'm not sure what default username is for a cisco router, but you can probably find it online by looking up the cisco model number. Lets hope your roomy hasn't changed them.

EDIT: out of curiosity, I've tried the IP you gave to access the router's page but it does not open. It says, site cannot be reached, the connection took too long to respond
Hmmm ... Have you tried rebooting router (turn it off/on) ???

Okay, so this is the output of ipconfig /all
(I took screenshots because the pasted text is not aligned properly in here)

    No Internet, secured-net1.pngNo Internet, secured-net2.png

Also, after removing https:// , I was able to access Router's web-page. I entered "admin" as user-name and for the password I typed the one written on the sticker at the bottom side of the router. I was not able to log-in, though.

    Hey Joanne,
Not sure why your IPv4 settings aren't being saved, but you can see the settings for your WiFi are wrong.

    1. Open Command Prompt as Admin and run the following commands.
    ipconfig /flushdns
    nbtstat -RR
    netsh int ip reset
    netsh winsock reset

    2. Reboot PC
    3. Go to your WiFi Adapter Settings > Properties > IPv4 Properties and setup up your static IP again

Also, after removing https:// , I was able to access Router's web-page. I entered "admin" as user-name and for the password I typed the one written on the sticker at the bottom side of the router. I was not able to log-in, though.
K, Roomy changed the user and/or password, so you'll have to ask them.

    Thank you, Eagle!

I will do this after a few minutes. Should I disconnect from my smartphone's hotspot, "connect" to the Router and do it?
Also, do you advise me to go via the Control Panel this time, and not through Settings / Wi-Fi?

Finally, I will type in the values shown in my 1st post, right?
Initially I will put the DNS shown there and then try Google's, as well. Right?

There is really nothing that you can do in your case. The other party has decided for a reason to block your access for a reason.

    Unfortunately, it does not work

After giving the commands in CMD (Admin) and rebooting, I went to the Control Panel / Network and typed in the values given. Before exiting I checked the box that it has there, to run a test on the new Network settings. Here's what I got

    No Internet, secured-1.png

In any case, I pressed OK and rebooted. The same result: No Internet, Secured. So no Internet.

I run the commands again and now I typed the addresses etc both in IPv4 in the Control Panel and in Settings / Wi-Fi. Same result, no Internet connection.

Finally, when I give ipconfig /all my settings are shown now. So it keeps them.

PS1: I did not have the time to enter Google's DNS. Should I still try it?
PS2: I tried some different numbers like 50 and 30, as the last digits of my IP. Still, it does not work

As long as ipconfig is showing the correct info that you entered, then obviously something else is going on ... what exactly I'm not sure

    Can't hurt :)

Have you tried rebooting the router (turn it off for 30 sec, the turn it back on) ???

Without being able to get into router and check it's settings, you're kinda of working blind. I don't think there is anything wrong with your PC and/or WiFi Adapter at this point. You might check and see if there is an updated driver for you WiFi Adapter. Check the PC and/or the WiFi Adapter manufactures sites for the driver.

Note: I'm NOT recommending this ... just an FYI ... I would only do it as a last resort !!!
    1. You could reset the router to it's default settings (check the router manufacturers site for a howto)
    2. Be Warned ... This will wipe out any custom settings that your roomy setup, reset the user/password to default, etc and without knowing the custom settings .... there is no way to know how it will affect others connected to router.

    Excuse me, what??!!

I missed your post because I am on and off, connecting via my smartphone. They have blocked my access to the Internet, you say?! They have NO right to do this! How have you arrived to this conclusion? Can you help me prove it? How have you concluded this?

On my day off I will go to a cafe and test my Wi-Fi Adapter. I strongly believe that it's working perfectly but I will do it anyway. When you say "the other party" you mean my roommates?!

    Please clarify!

    Thank you
