I have recently noticed that the Network Icon in the systray has disappeared. I use the Ethernet to connect with the router. I tried going into the setting for the taskbar (both 'Select which icons...' and Turn system icons on or off' and both have the Network icon greyed out. Not sure where else to look for this.

Hello Matt,
Since the Network setting is grayed out, you might see if using step 4 in Option One of the tutorial below may help allow you to turn it on afterwards.

If you haven't already, you might check to see if you have the latest driver installed from HP for your network adapter.
Even if I haven't, I'm not sure why it would have been fine before and now disappeared. I haven't changed anything else.
