Permission problems with DB on NAS

I have a simple home network. I have an Access DB stored on a NAS where I need to set "Full Control" permissions to ALL computers on the LAN. Or, at least two specific computers. (Actually there are only two desktops and a wireless laptop.)

How so I do that? Do the two desktops have to have static IP addresses to accomplish this?

    Thanks,
    Bill

Welcome to the forum. You dont give much details but normally you give permissions to people not pcs. Are you expecting more than one user to be using the database at one time as that may be a problem?

    I really do mean people. E.g., \\Bill-PC\Users\Bill

The Access APP expects the "possibility" of two users wanting to make a change to one of its tables. The data is by its nature very static so 99% of the time the access is read. Access allows locking mechanisms for DB's when a table is being updated.

Are they running access on each pc connecting to the database or running access of the nas with the database?

The Access front-end mde file is installed on both desktop machines. Those front-ends are both linked to the same back-end mdb on the NAS.
