Are you trying to set this device up to extend your network to your friend and provide him with a private set of IP's?
How have you connected your router to his router?
Hello
its not that complicated....
i setup a WAP for my friend to give Wi-fi in a remote building, it worked perfectly......I bought the WAP home to change the SSID......hopefully today I will manage this
thanks
I don't understand what is connected to what but if you are not getting an IP then the DHCP services are disabled in router.
Not sure which router you assigned this responsibility too.
You said, if I recall you were using 192.168.1.100
So you could try setting a static IP on your computer of 192.168.1.110.
Hello
had a spare router and setup as WAP, once ok will reset the other one......thanks for all the help
