What is make and model of laptop.

dalchina also suggested running Trouble Shooter. Did you perform?

Have you tried a Network Reset

Start > Setting > Network and Internet > Status > Scroll to the bottom of right hand side, click Network reset.

You may have to customized special communication software like VPN clients. You will forget WiFi Passwords.

Thanks for model. Wanted to check if there was a physical switch as well.

Do you know your function keys are working after BSOD. There is that package that Asus machines use, I'll have to look up, maybe it got corrupted in BSOD.

Please test another function key just so you know they are working.

What happens if you just hit F2 without function key?

In services is the WLAN Autofig showing a "Running" status with an "Automatic" Startup type?

In device manager is the WIFI card okay?

Nothing to lose trying Network Reset except some passwords.

if i hit F2 without Fn nothing happens either, and all function keys are working properly

Good. That would have been achieved by the tweaking.com tool repair I recommended.

Worth being aware of that tool.

    Excellent.

Glad the forum could could help. Not sure how that would have been set to manual but I guess we can assume the BSOD did it in.
