    Why does Wi Fi not auto-connect since 1903 update.


    Since the Windows !0 1803 update my computer fails to auto-connect to WiFi even though connect automatically has been ticked.

    I have googled and found lots of so called fixes - some work for a while - but most of the time I have to manually connect.

    My network adapter is an Asus PCE-AC68 802.11ac with the latest drivers installed.

    Is my network adapter too old?

    Uninstall device and driver and let Windows reinstall after a boot. Also reboot your gateway. No, your adapter is not old.

I have a PC out in my building and it runs off wifi, sometimes my modem shuts down and reboots but it will take like 5-10 minutes unless I go all the way back to the house and power cycle it. The problem is my windows 10 is set to auto connect to it...
