Pixel 2 smartphone can't connect to the wifi repeater internet

I own a Wi-Fi repeater to which other smartphones and my wife's MacBook can connect to and have internet access. But on my Pixel 2, while I can connect to repeater wifi network I get the warning "connected, no internet access".

Does anyone know how I can fix this? Thanks In advance.

It is a known Android OS issue. You have to turn off WPS (Wireless Protected Setup), use a shortened Passphrase in Hex/Decimal (ie 1a2b3c4d). It has worked with me with the Gateway I use from ATT. When it was a long mixed passphrase with @#*& type characters in it and almost 20 char's, it would not connect.

    Thanks for your answer.
What do you mean by turning off WPS? Not use that button on the router and on the repeater to link then for the first time? Because I didn't, I used the 192.168.1.254 on the Brower to enter the repeater setup.

This is not a Windows issue, it is a Android OS issue and the manufacturer hardware of the access point.

How are you so far sure? It's most certainly something within the repeater settings, that's why I asked here.

Because your issue has zero to do with Windows. You need to be addressing the problem in the Google forums. It is a known issue with the latest network security updates with Android OS, that Android OS will not connect through WPS (Known security issue when WPS enabled), along with long passphrases with mixed characters.).
