windows phone 10 mobile hotspot works for some pcs and not others

I am trying to set up my windows 10 phone as a mobile hotspot to use its cellular connection to share internet acces to a couple of laptops. It actually works quite well on one of them. Connects up no problem. But a second laptop I cannot get to work. I tell the laptop to connect to the SSID and enter the password. It then says it is connected and that it has internet access. But when I try to load a web page, no response. Then I try another web page and it tells me there is no internet access. This happens over and over. On this laptop I cannot ever get it to get me to a single web page. I have tried to look for differences between the two laptops and I have not seen anything obvious. So it appears the hotspot on the phone is working fine, but I don't know how to get this one laptop to connect to it. This same laptop connects to my wireless router and cable internet just fine. For some reason it won't connect or stay connected to the internet when connected to the phone hotspot. Help is greatly appreciated.

    another info bit

The computer that will not connect (or keeps disconnecting) is the exact same hardware as another that will connect fine. The only difference I know of is that the one that connects is W10-32bit and the other is W10-64 bit. This may or may not have anything to do with it. So I have two computers and an ipad that connect fine, and one that will not connect, and I cannot find out why. Actually, it does connect to the hotspot and says it is connected, but it says there is no internet.

I found the problem. Fortunately I had another identical computer to compare and I eventually found that I had a different driver for the broadcom wireless network card in the laptop. After some difficulty I was able to locate the driver package of the working computer online and install it on the non-working computer. Now that they both have the same driver they both work with the Windows phone hotspot. Yay!
