"Network address" advanced option for wifi adapter mod?

    "Network address" advanced option for wifi adapter mod?


    i was wondering if there was a mod available to add the option of network address in the advanced tab for wifi adapters? goal is to change mac addresses on my wifi adapter without useless 3rd party apps

    yes and that does not work on WIFI, thats why i said mod. this only works on select Ethernet models

    If a 3rd party program achieves your aim, in what way is it useless?
    Even if it were possible to hack the OS as you would like, that probably wouldn't survive the 6 monthly OS upgrades.

    well 3rd party apps have a limitation of you cant change the first 2 octets of the mac, meaning that you cant change to something like

    00:A5:53

    it has to be

    02: and its very stupid. on linux i have no limitation, and i would just do my work there but its annoying to switch OS's every second

    true every device should have its own Mac address but I'm in a situation where only one of my Wi-Fi cards are whitelisted to access my secure network answer me to access my network. I have to go all the way and connect my other Wi-Fi adapter which is slower and weaker other than use my other one
