As Soon As I Plug In My Ethernet I Lose All Connection

    Hello

This has just recently started to happen, and I've never had any problems with it before. However when I plug in my Ethernet cable, I lose all connections and I can't connect to the internet. I have no idea why its started to do this. I have tried to diagnose the problem with the network tool and it tried a network reset, which didn't help the problem.

I am completely baffled as my Ethernet has worked fine before this.

Try a different cable, for such a short run [10 feet or less] any CAT5, CAT5e or CAT6 should work. Maximum length is 100 Meters, a bit over 300 Feet.

Pull the power cord out of the Router, wait a minute then plug it back in. Same for the computer.

I have tried a new cable, and reset both my computer and the router.

    The problem is still here.

    Hello

I have attatched two notepad files with the contents of the CMD, one with the Ethernet unplugged and WiFi enabled and working. The other is WiFi disconnected and Ethernet connected. I hope this is the information you need.

    Thanks in advance.
