    One Drive on 2 machines

I have 2 W10 (1803) machines and have put several folders and files on One Drive on my Desktop. When I boot my laptop those files do not appear in its One Drive. Same MS Account on each machine. I am new to One Drive and thought if I put stuff on OD on one machine it would appear on the second.

What do I have to do to get this to happen?

I share files and folders between the machines with no problem using standard file sharing techniques.

    Thank you.

On the desktop in onedrive folder there should be a icon next to folders and files what are the icons as that tells you if its in the cloud and if its been uploaded is onedrive running in the taskbar?

    Thank you.

There is no mention of One Drive on the task bar or in the Task Manager so I assume it is not running. I wonder what turned it off. Could it have happened with the upgrade to 1803 from 1709/

Nor are there any icons by the files and folders, about 10, on the Desktop's One Drive folder. I must have something set up wrong so how do I correct it.

    Thanks again.

    • Press the Windows + X key combinations to open the Quick Access menu. Select Command Prompt (Admin).
    • To install the OneDrive in Windows 10 64-bit, issue the following commands: %systemroot%\SysWOW64\OneDriveSetup.exe. ...
    • Upon completing the installation, restart the computer and you can then use OneDrive again.

Thank you very much. It took a step or two beyond that but things are working as I expected now.
