    Network failure since 1803

Tried everything that I can think so after some help here.

Main PC and laptop running Win10 1803 x64.

Both are configured as Private with everything prior to the 1803 update. The laptop, running via wireless can see and write to the files on the PC which is operating in ethernet mode.

The PC can see the laptop but cannot access the shared files when the laptop is in wireless mode. If I hook up the laptop via an ethernet cable then everything is fine - the PC can read and write to the laptop. So clearly there is a ‘blockage’ from the PC to the laptop whilst the laptop is in wireless mode.

I’ve run out of ideas so any ideas appreciated.

Same problem here, except I can't even see my other computers on the same Local Area Network. I have tried many suggestions listed in this forum. Nothing helped.

In the 'old days' the quickest way I found was to join the Homegroup. That route though is no longer an option. So all ??? in my head over this. Like yourself, have read every tutorial, applied every bit of advice I could find and still no go. So frustrated.com here.

The code I receive from the main PC when trying to access the laptop is Error Code: 0x80070035.

Has anyone tried to rename their PC and rebooted?

Do I have to rename all PC's. I have 9 on my LAN. This seems like a lot of work just to get LAN working again. Is Microsoft this incompetent? Reminds me of the bugs during the DOS days.

I would start with two computers and see if that helps. I assume you have read over the networking services that are broken in 1803 on some computers. The Function Discovery services (2) of them. If you had it working before and tried everything, renaming the PC might get it working. I had to do this on my network after 1803.
