    Youtube URL


    Plotting a routing table...

    Can anyone do a traceroute to YouTube and tell me what the URL is that is displayed as the first output of the traceroute?

    The words after 'Tracing route to'.

    Multiple responses from multiple posters would be useful.

    First output will always be your DHCP server (router).

    In my case, the next one, step 2 as well as step 4 will always time out. Anyway, I have no streaming issues with YouTube.

    A result seen in the UK
    Tracing route to youtube.com [216.58.204.46]
    ...running the tracert command a second time gets a different result...
    Tracing route to youtube.com [216.58.201.14]
    ...and running on another machine connected to the same router gets yet another result.
    Tracing route to youtube.com [216.58.206.142]
    What are you trying to find out?
