Error accessing Change Adaptor Options Windows 10 Pro 1803

    Hi
Anyone have any idea why I'm getting this error and if so how do I resolve it, just updated to Windows 10 1803 from 1709, no issues before the update

Helps to know from Device Manager what adapter you are having issues with. Remove the problematic device and reinstall. Drivers have always been a issue with major changes, especially with security changes as a OS ages.

Hi, in windows explorer from navigation pane, try right-click network > properties. Does this bring up the control panel option to view your active networks? If it brings up that error again, it would be that your control panel may be corrupted.

Edit: Can you bring up control panel at all without error? Or control panel > network and sharing center?

    Hi
Control opens fine and I can right click on Network and access the properties and open control panel, it only happens in the Windows settings screen, no matter what option I select whether it's Wireless, Ethernet, Dial-up.

It's only that option that its happens with no problem opening any other options, going to run a scannow to see if that finds any issues
    Thanks for the reply

Show the exact device in device manager that you are having issues with. Remove the device and driver, let Windows reinstall when you reboot.

Are you using a standard or admin account? Is this machine connected to a domain controller (work machine)?

I have full Admin rights and it's a home PC so no domain

    No errors found with scannow

When you go here in control panel, do all of your network devices show? Any with a red x that may not be working or disconnected like the 3 devices in my screenshot? There's a strong possibility like @bro67 was trying to get at, is that one of your network devices is not properly installed. That's why he suggested reinstalling a driver for that device.
