Put some paper flowers on the antenna. Or get one like this Lyra Voice | Networking | ASUS Global
or Blue Cave | Networking | ASUS Global

No thanks. Just a simple, smaller, unobtrusive box would do just fine.

From your pictures posted, you seem to think that your WiFi router should be up on that empty ledge sticking out like a sore thumb.
Also from these same pictures I see lots of places to conceal your devices Simply mount them on the dark paneled walls or behind your monitor anywhere on the wall vertically or upside down horizontally on the underside of that ledge, they can be easily camouflaged by existing or added decorations including LAN wires.

Seriously I remain puzzled why these are both the size they are . Most likely miniturzation would cost manufacturing $$.$$ And why eat into the profit margin if not strictly necessary.🤨
    Hi there
so long as Wireless signals need to be received the size (and quality) of the antennae do matter - so whatever size the box is you'll still need a decent length on the antenna rods

Antenna length is determined by frequency and wave length. Higher the frequency, shorter the antenna has to be. Classical, half wave whip antenna for CB radio was 102".

I can't see any issue, If you want to decorate you home to look like its 1818 and not 2018 you cannot expect technology to fit in as there was no technology in 1818.

These days we see too many cases of Form over Function I'd much rather see something that works efficiently, than something that is fits in with the decor but works badly
    Form over Function :-

    Fluent, Acrylic?

    Yes 1/4, I already forgot, 27MHz = 11M wavelength.
