    View Available Networks disappears

Sometimes when I need to reconnect to wifi, available networks is not visible. There are no networks, only visible is airplane mode at the bottom. I have to restart which is a pain. Any suggestions?

I have an older Notebook that will occasionally lose its Wi-Fi/Wireless connection and rebooting is necessary to get it back. Haven't found fix yet.

I would like to find a solution

This now happens multiple times a day. Surely there is a fix somewhere.
