    Synology DSM 6.2 update?

Anyone seen the 6.2 update here yet? I have a 1817+ and while I saw a while ago a post that said DSM 6.2 had been released everytime I check on mine it says 6.1.7 is up to date.

Do I have to go the manual route?

Yes I also received an email stating that 6.2 was available. It has a link, but doesn't take you any place ?????

A update: Yes it looks like a manual update is required. I tried to get the auto update feature to do it and it would not. I downloaded the 6.2 pat file to my PC. Logged on to the NAS and performed a manual update. Took around 10 min, and works like a charm. It has a bunch of new features that I don't use, but it seems to be stable.

Well I opened a ticket with Synology to find out why the automatic update was still showing the previous version and still waiting for a reply. I had already download the pat file and I manually updated this morning with zero issues. Supposedly the iSCSI is supposed to be better which I use for HPE DL360 Gen 9 VM server. Time will tell.

Finally got a response from them. It seems that 6.2 is not a global release yet and we have to either wait or update manually. Pretty useless statement if they are sending out emails saying 6.2 has been released.

Synology always rolls updates out by region. It takes about 3 weeks for an update to become globally available once released.
