Ed, if you don't mind, please tell me how you cut out the picture of the network/Bluetooth card (see below) so precisely. What software did you use? BTW, I ordered this card. Thank you.

I used the Windows built-in snipping tool to grab this with the "Rectangular snip" option to drag a box around just the device image itself. As with most other things built into the OS, Shawn Brink has a tutorial on this entitled "How to Take a Screenshot in Windows 10" right here at TenForums (options 4 and 6 are most illustrative of this capability).

Thanks, Ed. I've never used the Snipping tool. Always a first time. I thought the cutout was really cool!!

Easy-peasy: if you try it out (or work through Brink's tutorial) you'll figure it out in no time. Great stuff. I use it every day for blogging and articles. I also use SnagIt 18 when I have to capture pop-up menus, cursors, or other temporary screen items. @Kari swears by Screenpresso, and I've started playing around with it, too.
    Best wishes,

Ed, you mentioned an extender (Linksys RE6500 AC1200 Dual-Band Wireless Range Extender).

I can't find this one in any of the top reviews. Do you recommend this one? From what I've read, a mesh extender would be much better. What's your take on this?

I don't think it was Ed that mentioned the RE6500, I think it was me. If you want to use a mesh extender then you also need to replace your router as well. I have the Orbi RBK50 AC3000 mesh system (1 router and 1 extender), and I honestly liked my Netgear R7000 router with the RE6500 extender better.

The biggest difference I see is in traffic to/from my 2 NAS boxes connected to the Orbi system. I had much better throughput with my old R7000+RE6500 system than with the Orbi.

Hello Commander! I didn't know I had to have a special router to use an extender. What do you think about hard wiring another router to my base router (one in my office, floor#1 and one in the next floor up, floor #2)? Wouldn't that give me two 2.4 GHz channels and two 5.0 GHz channels (obviously, the two channels coming from the 2nd-floor router where I am would give me a stronger signal)?

You don't need a special router to use a standard extender. You need a compatible router to use a mesh system. A standard range extender will work with any WiFi router.

A wired gigabit Ethernet connection will almost always be better than WiFi.
