Own PC not showing in Network display

Not a major problem but irritating. I think issue started after installing update 1803. Have 2 pcs - mine & partners. On my pc when looking at the Network it only shows my partner's pc (plus 2 network printers / scanners). On my partner's pc it shows both her pc & mine (plus the printers / scanners). Had a problem to start when no pcs were displayed but by setting the service 'Function Discovery Resource Publication' on both computers to automatic and starting it cured that problem. Any ideas why I cannot see my pc when running the network facility from my computer?

Mine is the same in File Explorer, probably because it already knows about this PC I'm using to check the Network.

    Hey Pastelman,
Try setting your Function Discovery Services to the following ... I would also manually restart each one.

Function Discovery Provider Host - Automatic
Function Discovery Resource Publication - Automatic (Delayed Start)

Note: It can take a minute for the PC's to show up in File Explorer > Network

Hi Eagle51, tried your suggestion but to no avail. I checked that both services were running but, on looking at the Network, it still doesn't display my computer on my machine. My computer is displayed on my partners pc together with her computer. Think I might give up for now as, as mentioned, it is not a major problem just frustrating. My partner's computer is the same spec as mine but there must be a setting that is different.
