I think the issue is with the OS and the dongle OS compatibility. You may need a new wifi adapter.
It's a Belkin F7D4101 and miraculously I managed to find the driver disk for it!

The screenshots in post #6 say 'Belkin Play Wireless Adapter', though it doesn't give the model number.

So was the one in that thread I found...
Wifi Disconnection Issues - Windows 10 Home Premium 64-Bit
    ...
    - Network Receiver Device: Belkin Play Wireless Adapter - Model: F7D4101 v1
    - Drivers: Using the Windows 7 64bit Driver
    - Reason: Belkin has not released any Windows 10 drivers for the F7D4101 model*

Best to uninstall any Belkin Wireless Manager, and just install the basic driver. The Belkin installer may give you that choice.

If it doesn't then expand the installation file with 7-Zip and look for the basic driver, Drivers folder, and an associated *.INF file in the folder and install from that.

Use the one under the win7 folder "bcmwlhigh6.inf"
Belkin reckon its windows 8 compatible so should be OK with Windows 10.

I have had Linksys and Netgear USB wireless dongles and it's been the same for those.

I'd first try uninstalling the device in Device Manager, the plug in the dongle and see if there's a driver from Microsoft it can find and load. MS do have drivers for quite a few obsolete devices, you may get lucky.

Just found the maual...it says it only for XP/Vista/7. Then the software udate allows windows 8. So it doesn't work with windows 10 and is looking like you'll need to buy a new windows 10 compatible wifi adapter.

You can install the one I suggested and then go to Windows updates or just let Windows find a driver from the Device Manager > Properties > Driver Tab > Update driver.
MS do have a lot of drivers for old stuff and if there is a suitable driver it will find it.
If that fails with the basic driver installed on Windows 10, then buy a new one.

Actually, it says XP/Vista/7 and notes that those drivers are...
    Post Date: 2/20/2014
    Release Notes:
    Driver 1.0

    • Windows® 8 compatible
There is however a 'version 2'...
    version: 2, OS Compatibility: Windows 8 32bit; Windows 8 64bit; Windows 8.1 32bit; Windows 8.1 64bit; Windows 7 32bit; Windows 7 64bit; Windows Vista 32bit; Windows Vista 64bit; Size: 24.9 MB

That's a change of chipset from V1 Broadcom, to V2 Realtek.
