    Changing name on wireless network

It seems like my router keeps adding 5ghz at the end of the name of my wireless network. It also seems like it keeps adding it back again, regardless of how many times i delete it.

When you change it do you save it and with a lot of routers it has two names one for 2g and one for 5 g so if you change two g you may see 5g with the same name

Some routers support dual speeds - 2.4 ghz and 5.0ghz speed. Samuria is trying to tell you, if you changed the name in the router setting to 1 of the dual settings you'll have to rename the other one.
