How can I not view unwanted wireless networks?

    Hi.

So I connected to my wireless router and it discovers a whole bunch of other wireless networks near me.
Tried turning them off by unselecting each one. Well, that didn't work. Go figure - W10.

Just want to see my own wireless network (router) and that's it.

What am I missing? When I am out in the field, that is the time to display available access points.

    TIA :)

    Hello BKT, :)

If you like, you could use Option Two below to add the wireless networks you want to the "Allowed" filter list, then use Option Four below to add all not allowed wireless networks to the "Denyall" list to no longer have them show in your list of available wireless networks.

OK. I will give it a go. You wound think that Microsoft would have an easier way!
What about Windows 7 while we are on the topic?

    Many thanks! :)

    You're most welcome. :)

It can be used the same for Windows 7 as well.
