@Accesss Denied - Progress has been made:

Laptop shows: laptop, ASRock desktop, Asus desktop, router, but no printer

Asus desktop: shows all 3 computers, router, but no printer

ASRock desktop shows :Asrock desktop, laptop, but no Asus desktop or printer

Surface Pro 3 shows all machines, but no printer.

Only issue now is the ASUS desktop is not showing up in the ASRock desktop.

I'm going to re-check and reboot the desktops.

    THANK YOU!

So I checked SMB1 client box and now both of my PCs can see each other in left panel in File Explorer, thank you for that. However, in "Computer" section inNetwork menu, one of the PCs (let's call it "PC A") can't see itself, while the other ("PC B") can see both. However, its own PC name ("PC A)" is visible in the left panel, just not in "Computer".

I know it's a very minor hassle, but I'd like "PC A" to see both itself and "PC B" in both the Network entry in the side panel and in "Computer" section. The PC icon is larger in "Computer" section than the one in the left panel, so it's easier to be clicked on, just a matter of convenience and laziness, I admit.

If you find it difficult to understand what I mean, I can provide you with screenshots to better illustrate the issue. Thanks in advance.

If you are running the April Update --->>

You need to set two services to automatic (delayed start):

    Function Discovery Provider Host
    Function Discovery Resource Publication

I started them both and my PC instantly showed up in the Network.

Open a Run box, (win key + R) type services.msc and press enter to open the Services List. Scroll down until you find those two. Set them to automatic (delayed start). Then right click and start them both. That PC will now show up.
