    Having trouble with port forwarding..

    title ^
and basically my router is speedport entry 2i and is not listed in the simple port forwarding program..ive tried opening ports with range and without , nothing worked (am trying to host d2 lod games without hamachi , ports are 4000 and 6112) i have malware bytes and kaspersky total security installed , but ive disabled protections in kaspersky and whitelisted the entire diablo 2 folder in malware bytes and as a web process the d2 exe.and also allowed some inbound tcp stuff from the firewall of kaspersky.im pretty sure malwarebytes or kaspersky is ****ing it up but here are some screenshotsHaving trouble with port forwarding..-first-screeny-pf.pngHaving trouble with port forwarding..-second-screeny.pngHaving trouble with port forwarding..-third-screeny.png

First I want to address one mistake you have made. Never install 2 Antivirus software at the same time, ever. So, now when that is covered I have to say that whatever you will try next may or may not work.

First thing you should check is both Kaspersky and Windows Firewall (possibly MalwareBytes too) setting within their own apps/interfaces. Have you opened both inbound and outbound ports?

Don't use any 3rd-party apps for opening ports, it won't work.

Since you have installed Kasperksy and disabled it, it might happen that it's blocking traffic even if it's totally disabled. I've had this issue with multiple internet security suits.

ive uninstalled both kaspersky and malware bytes , but i have not created a windows firewall outbound rule for these ports...
EDIT : ive uninstalled these 2 and now when i check through the canyouseeme it instead says connection refused rather than the previous , connection timed out...idk what this means , i would expect something else since 2 programs of protection have been uninstalled , also i created the outbound rule as well , dont know what else i should do..

Ok, that is the first thing to do. And since you are the D2 LOD host, you must open the inbound ports also.

That is not Windows Firewall, this is:

What you have just done, is configuring what ports D2 uses for serving the game server.

Do you know how to find the Firewall? It can be a bit tricky...

:c ive changed various things even disabled windows firewall and the error type changed to connection timed out yeah we are in the same window , let me show you the additional rules i created for UDP even tho these ports are probably not used by D2 , i will try enabling the firewall again and host a game and see if the canyousee me works

edit : is connecting an other d2 window and character into my host ip using sandboxie the correct way of simulating if other players outside of my lan can connect ?

Oh, sorry, yes we seem to be in the right chapter and page. Based on this information everything should work, but as stated before. Kaspersky might be blocking something, even if you uninstall it. I've had these sorts of issues a lot. This is why I only have been using Windows Defender for the last 2 years. It all works and I have not gotten any infections since.
