    Suddenly sharing not working

    I know this topic has been done to death, but I can't find anyone with the same situation as me.

    I have a cabled network with two PC's; PC A is Win 10 Pro v1709 and PC B is Win 10 Home v1709.

    Until recently I have been able to seamlessly share files, in either direction, between the two PCs.

    2 days ago I turned on PC B after not using it for a few months. I was able to browse to PC B from PC A without any problems. After a while Win 10 updated itself (to 1709) and now I can only browse from PC B to PC A, not the other way.

    If I go to 'Network' on PC B I can see PC A and B in the Computer section, but on PC A there is only PC A itself; PC B shows up under 'Other Devices', but that only opens a page with PC B's properties.

    Nothing else has changed (apart from the Win 10 update), so any idea how I can fix this?

    Win+R->Services.msc
    On Both PC's, Check the following services and set to Automatic (Default is Manual but sometimes doesn't start). If not running then Start the service(s)

    1. UPnP Device Hos
    2. DNS Client
    3. SSDP Discovery
    4. Function Discovery Provider Host
    5. Function Discovery Resource Publication

    Power cycle the router. Reboot both PC's

    I think it may have worked for me as well!
    Thanks
    I had re-built two PC's and changed their names etc and my file sharing was very eractic.
    Now it seems OK

    I tried the above steps and it is still not working. I did find a workaround, a 128 GB flash drive.
