Configured VPN Connections and mapped drives In Windows 10 Disappear

    Hello,

I am new to the forum and to the IT Industry...I have been tasked with building out a Lenovo T440p Laptop with Windows 10 Pro OS...Part of the configuration requirements was to configure VPN connection for the user prior to delivering the laptop...I configured the VPNs and tested them and powered down the machine...The next day when I got to work I powered on the machine to continue my configuration and the VPNs were gone from Settings and the Network Adapter settings in Control Panel...I checked my notes on the ticket to ensure I did not forget to set up the VPNs and my notes confirmed that I had set up the VPNs...So, I set them up again and tested them successfully and placed shortcuts on the desktop...This also happened to a drive that I mapped and an application shortcut I placed on the desktop...So I reconfigured and tested them again...The next day the laptop was delivered to the client who called stating the VPNs, Mapped Drive and Application shortcut were missing...I have searched for information on this situation and have found nothing...Any Ideas??? Thanks!!! Steve
