Wireless Connection Issue
Hello,
Here's the layout. I have a desktop in the living room, a desktop in the bedroom, and an iPhone. I have a wireless connection throughout my home. A few weeks ago, some workers came over to install hardwood floors in my living room. They unplugged the phone cable, router, and PC that was in the living room. Since then, I'm not able to access the internet on the PC in the living room and also on my iPhone. I'm still able to access the internet in my bedroom. Here's what I have done so far:
- reset the router
- malware/spyware scans
- checked the antivirus firewall to see if it was blocking the connection (it wasn't)
- checked to see if I needed to update firmware in the router (didn't need updating)
When the living room PC boots, the wireless icon (taskbar) looks like there's a connection. When I open up the browser, no connection. The only way I can access the internet on my iPhone is to disable the wireless. It seems like when I turn on the wireless, it acts like a wall to the connection to the living room PC and my phone.
Please help.
