    bro,

I have 150/150 on both networks. Is that good enough?

Not talking anything about hardware. Read what I posted. It is towards the fact that I have worked in State Government and with the work that I did, we needed at least 100mbps per workstation for up and down. That was not when we imaged large PDF files and had to send the files to a remote server, then pull them back and cut the PDF apart as we put them into a Document database server and entered the info. Then we would have to wait for all of that information for the fourth time to get sent back to a remote server. All of that on a single T1 that choked.

My point is that if you are doing a VPN, you are using a Internet package that is say 50mbps down, 5mbps up, your choke point will be your upload both way, if both ends have the same package.

You should be fine as long as both sites have that same speed. You do not surf anonymously when you are using a VPN. It is the biggest fallacy. I use the SmartDNS servers with OpenVPN on my Shield and for Tunnelbroker on my Macbook Air. The only time I use it on my air is if I am watching movies online through a webscraper. On the Shield, all of the time. There are server packages out there that will allow you to map folders and all, just like you would with Windows Server.

You cannot use the VPN services for connecting two sites, since they are made for surfing online without the hiccups through slow ways through the Internet. If you want to connect two sites, you will have to use OpenVPN.

I read the same thing about anonymity too. But I also read it's possible if you use things like CanvasDefender, StartPage, and Tor. The only problem with that is that my computer starts to run so much slower that it becomes so annoying....but then I read that using some of it does protect you. It depends upon how much time they are willing to spend to to figure out who you are.
