I went into the properties of the Realtek driver this morning, Driver tab, and clicked Update Driver on a whim.
It found new drivers and installed them. Hopefully these are the ones that will work well with Windows 10.
This is the new driver version : 10.2.703.2015
I'll post an update if these fail to work.
on a whim = I was being sarcastic. I've tried updating every day since I installed Windows 10. This day, though, it actually worked.
So far - so good. It's been running for hours with no problems at all.
I sure hope so, man. I don't know how long it takes Windows Updates to get to other countries.
I usually keep my Task Manager open just to monitor the PC on my 3rd monitor, and this new driver brings back all the network activity I was used to seeing on 8.1. The older driver activity level was significantly less.
Looks like we might have a good one here.
Nothing new for me for the moment......
Do you think it would be possible to download the new driver from a website ? Nothing new on the Realtek web site.
I have installed a Intel Pro/1000 MT Ethernet card and I have already the same issue : connexion speed falls down after arround a minute......
Impossible to install a new driver from Intel, message : "Intel card not installed in the computer....." yet the card is well present in the device manager......!!!!
