    Office 365 error

    Hi all

I am working on a laptop for my friend he had both 2013 and office 365 it was causing major issues, now when I try to install office 365 I get error 0-1012(0) I’ve tried everything and spent an hr with Microsoft support who tried everything I tried then said they didn’t know

If someone could assist it would be amazing

    Thanks in advanced

That's the first mistake, you can only have 1 version of Office on a PC at a time. No wonder your friend was having issues. I would recommend uninstalling both and then decide which one your friend wants to keep. I suggest keeping Office 365 as it the most current latest version of MS Office.

That’s the issue inrekiv d both now I can’t install office 365 it just keeps giving error 0-1012(0) I’m pretty sure I’ve fully removed it all, I have clear d registry files and everything another strange part is the .docx and .xlsx files still show their icons as if office is still present

Is there a script or tool to properly remove everything

    I’ve tried Microsoft’s

    Many thanks

Try Revo Uninstaller and then use Ccleaner to clean the registry.

Tried both of those still having the same issue

Sorry it was supposed to say “that’s the issue I’ve uninstalled both instances of office”
