Office 2016 Language Pack offline installer

    Hello!

As a Technician I frequently install Office 2016 for my customers. Every time I need both English and Greek (or other language) interface, I have to go to the internet, download the web installer and then wait for the language pack to download and install. I was wondering if there is any offline language pack that I can download and install it without need for internet connection and the time necessary to do it online. Searching in Google only points me to the web installers. Any standalone solution?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi,

I know, it is a very old thread, but here are many direct downloads links for Office 2016 standalone: Office 2016 Direct Download Links

And here an utility for downloading ISOs of Windows 7, 8.x and 10 or Office 2010, 2013, 2016: Microsoft Windows and Office ISO Download Tool

    Enjoy!

Office language interface pack (LIP) downloads - Office Support

Works fine -- even includes languages like Icelandic !!!.

Well, thank you for the first link. From that I can download the Greek version of Office 2016. The second link includes all languages that do not have a Language pack but have a Language Interface Packet. As far as I know a LIP permanently changes the interface to the chosen language and cannot be removed, while a Language Pack can be removed and also gives spell checking on the chosen Language. Greek has a language pack, not a LIP, so it is not included on the second link. Thank you anyway.

    Hi there.

adding a LIP merely adds the required language --you can revert back to the original - it's a bit fiddly to do but doesn't alter the languages permanently.

Unless you have an Enterprise / Volume licence Language packs are now in Office 2016 a "Pay" for thjng !!! -- LIP's are still free and the name has been changed to "Language Accessory Pack" just to confuse the poor old user still more !!!!

    Cheers

Once you have installed Home and Business 2016 and Professional 2016, you are entitled to a free Language Pack installation (not sure for Home and Student 2016). Just go to Preferences, Languages and add the language you want. There is a link to download it if it is not already installed. The same is true for the respective Office 365 versions.
