    Outlook 365 can't tell time

I have used Outlook to download my email for many years.

Outlook 365 is not checking/downloading my email on the 10-min. schedule have used for years.

This is a home computer that is on 24/7. I (should) receive email on a pretty regular basis during a normal day. Email arrives on a random basis overnight. In the morning, when I sit down to work. email will suddenly come in. During the day, email will again come in on a random basis. Often, if I am expecting something, it only comes in if I check, and then, sometimes I get things that are dated several hours previously. Last week, I suddenly received email on one of the 3 accounts that ranged from several minutes to 3 weeks old.

All 3 gmail accounts are set up the same (in fact have not been changed in years).

I currently have Outlook 365 (Vers. 2402 Build 16.0.17328020124 - 32 bit) and Windows 10 (22H2 - OS Build 19045.4170). Both of which were added last year and are probably the root cause of my problem.

I use FiOS as a carrier. The hardware was built by my son (NUC) just s few years ago. I also use Firefox.

I tried changing to a 15-min. schedule with change. I tried creating another (4th) account as a "loner". No change.

Why can't this version of Outlook keep the time?

That is a issue with the remote server not the client. When you go to the web portal are all of the emails sitting there?

Post a reply to the thread: Outlook 365 can't tell time

Assuming that "...When you go to the weail portal are all pf the emails sitting there?" means "...When you go to the web portal are all missing the emails sitting there?

Answer: Yes. All the missing emails are at .gmail. Checking online will trigger the Outlook download.

Note: Your post is dated as "2 days ago". Outlook did not download the post until I read another email in another account this morning.

I think you should try repairing MS Office Outlook.
Repair an Office application - MSSupport

Is there a particular reason you are using a 32 bit version of Outlook?
    - Perhaps your Windows is 32 bit.
    - Perhaps you had an old 32 bit version of MSOffice installed when you installed MSOffice 365.

    Best of luck,

    Windows 10 is 64 bit.
Office 365 (outlook 365) is 32 bit. (I am on my son's family account.)

I will try the Repair Outlook option.

    Thank you.

    Update -- does not work.

    No option for Outlook alone.

"Select the Microsoft Office product you want to repair and select Modify. -- "Modify is grayed out.

    Choose default apps -- Ditto

    All "Modify" are grayed out.

When you've tried the repair, you can consider reinstalling MSOffice 365.
When you do so, you can choose to let it install as 64 bit since your OS can take advantage of that to make Office run faster.
Office 365 will install as 32 bit if you make it or if you already have an old installed Office version that is 32 bit [like my MSOffice 2007].
Do you have an old version installed already?
