    O365 vs Offline Office Apps


    In my thick images, I have always included the pre-installed offline office apps. Now I have subscribed to O365 Family, do I first need to uninstall the offline office, and then install the online office apps? Basically the online 0365 version of the office apps.

    Btw can you script their install thru winget or chocolatey? I see O365 is included in Windows 11 by default but the apps themselves aren't yet installed.

    It is unclear what you are asking.

    MS 365 when downloaded give you full access to the various features such as Word or Excel.

    You can also use cutdown online versions.

    Installing the full versions does not affect accessing the online versions

    Just install MS 365 directly from MS - do not use things like winget.

    Simple, install, activate by entering MS sccount details, thats all.
