How do I save a .jpeg or .jpg file in Outlook email?

I have recently started using Outlook for email in Office 365. I can't figure out how to save an inserted picture. A .jpeg or .jpg file. When I right click on the picture, there is no option "save" or "save as". There is only a menu that comes up, and the only "live" option is "Paste Options".

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

(I can't take a screen shot with the menu showing)

First, left click on the inserted image to select it. Then, right click on the image and you should get a "save as" option.

Using Snip & Sketch (the old snipping tool was similar), select the 'new snip' drop-down arrow, and choose one of the 'delayed' options (3 or 10 seconds). Then right-click on your picture and wait for the screen to dim, indicating S&S is ready to work, as here:

But the fact that you only get 'paste' options suggests something is up - I saw that just now in a situation I can not now repeat.

Yes, MS is really bad about re-using names in parallel.
    There are these Outlooks
    - MSOffice Outlook, and
    - Windows 10/11 Outlook [the new built in email, calendar etc app], and
    - Outlook for Android, and
    - Outlook the online service [email, calendar, ...].
And I've a feeling I've left one out.

    All the best,
    Denis

the one i have is where i installed "mail&calender" app and from there it asks if you want to switch to the "new" outlook , as mail&calender apparently gonna expire / disintegrate .
