    Outlook 2019 sending but not recieving


    Outlook 2019 sending but not recieving. Was working ok but suddenly stopped. Have not changed any settings.
    In the advanced option it is set to send and receive all accounts and the include this group is checked.

    John,

    1 When was the last time it sent & received correctly?
    2 When was the first time it would not receive?
    3 Who is the ISP, the email provider?
    4 Does the ISP's support site mention any changes to requirements, such as GMail's gradual enforcement of app passwords for email applications they do not approve of [such as earlier versions of MSOffice Outlook]?

    Have not recieved now for about two days. Do not get many emails so cannot be exact.
    My provider is Plusnet.
    Can't understand why it should suddenly change.
    I have done a system restore from over a week ago but this had no effect.

    I had a look at PlusNet's website but could not see any reference to their email settings having been changed recently.
    If you are using their recommended settings
    Plusnet email setup FAQs
    then perhaps you could ask in the Plusnet forum to see if anybody else has seen your problem.
    I did have a quick nose around their forum and there were several hits for a search on cannot receive email including Outlook2016/Windows10/IMAP - Cannot receive Incoming Emails

    Suddenly all is working well. Have not done anything to the computer since my last post, so cannot say why.
    Will come back if it happens again
