OneDrive (Windows 10) Sync Folder Options

Say I wish to back up my Documents folder. (In actuality, it will be another folder.) I see three ways this can be done, unless Iím confused.

    1) Toggle on my Documents folder in the Manage Backup section of Settings.

    2) Go to View Online and upload my Documents folder.

    3) Copy and paste my Documents folder into the OneDrive Ė Personal folder on my PC.

Iíve attached pics of all three. Do all three accomplish the same thing?

Uploading, or copying your documents folder to OneDrive will produce a static folder. This means that if you make any changes to the documents folder on your PC, they will not update, and back up on your OneDrive.

Whereas, toggling OneDrive in the documents settings will constantly update the documents OneDrive folder, even when you make changes just to the one on your PC.

Hope this clears things up for you.
