You can now log MSOffice out of your MSAccount. As I said before, the MSAccount was only required for download, installation & activation.
File menu,
Account,
top left corner - sign out,
a confirmation dialog will appear [and will contain lies that you can ignore], just click on Sign out and you're done. Attachment 387729

I guess there's no way around having to use an email account to install Office. Guess I'll have to turn that email account's spam filters on to avoid the MS crap they'll inevitably send me. Bummer.

Can anyone explain to me why I have duplicate entries for my office programs in my start menu? For one entry, the icon is normal in size and for the other entry, the icon is tiny in size.
Also why do all (4) programs for Office 2016 appear tiny...
Because Word had a odd look to the icon, I ran the trouble shooter. Other users told me their 2016 and 2019 Word also looked like mine - very different from any other desktop icons.
The troubleshooter found that Word was incompatible and fixed it....
In this event how do I install my office in my new pc? I read about it at the MS site but I coud not understand the second step which is too deactivate.
I don't want to lose all my information that is currently in word format.
Do I install Libreoffice first then use add remove to remove MS to switch and keep my files?
