Office 2016 do not show rules.

My office 2016 Outlook Version 2211 Build 16.0.15831.20098) 64-biters running on Windows 10 Pro version 21H2 do not show any rules, even after I have made one and it is working.
So I cannot get access to existing rules to edit or remove them.

They are supposed to appear in File menu, Rules & alerts.
[In earlier versions, they were in the Tools menu & only appeared if an email folder was currently selected]

    Office repair.

The online office repair removed my offiocpackage talking about a conflict between 32- bit database and 64-bit app.

It sounds to me like you have an older 32 bit version of Office installed as well as Office 2016.

Whilst MS says that two versions can co-exist, others have reported problems [particularly, if I recall correctly, with Outlook].
Install and use different versions of Office on the same PC - MSSupport

I suggest you go to Control panel, Programs & features and uninstall all older Office versions & trial versions [including any of their add-ons that are listed].
You ought, then, to be able to re-run a repair of Office 2016 but might prefer to reinstall it instead.

    Best of luck,
    Denis

I got back my office by a resent image og my C-drive. Then I removed the Office Access database engine 2007 and installed the 2016 version. Then I made a local Office repair. Now the rules are back.

    Mike,

    I'm glad it's fixed.
Once you've made a new system image, you can experiment as much as you like - assuming that you actually need any of your Office 2007 applications back.
    - I think that, for each experiment, you'd have to uninstall Office 2016, reinstall Office 2007 then reinstall Office 2016.
    - This would be a lot of work so you'd only want to bother if you have a pressing need for some part of Office 2007.

I still use Office 2007 and the Office 2021 that I have also installed [on one computer] displays its rules correctly despite my having left the whole of Office 2007 on that computer.

When I installed Office 2021, it detected that Office 2007 [32 bit] was there and automatically installed Office 2021 as 32 bit.
It sounds to me as though your Office 2016 might not have made that adjustment during its installation.

    Happy New Year,
    Denis
